Regardless of the service, you will get a qualified and passionate Occupational Therapist who brings a wealth of experience in empowering and enabling individuals to lead an enhanced quality of life.

Who am I?

My name is Catherine Gough. I am a qualified Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals to maintain a good quality of life.

The idea of Quality Life Enablement developed when I was working with individuals who had had a stroke. I saw first hand the negative impact that a medical condition/disability can have on an individual’s wellbeing, quality of life and on their feelings of isolation and loneliness.

As an Occupational Therapist, I provide practical support, enabling you to engage in activities that are important to you, which we know is essential for our overall health and wellbeing.

Prior to Quality Life Enablement I worked in the NHS in Sheffield. I spent my last few years in the NHS specialising in stroke rehabilitation both in the Stroke Specialist Rehabilitation Centre and in the Community Stroke Rehabiliation Team.
